Tri Active

TriActive is the result of the newest technology for restoring a normal balance to the skin and outer layers, including smoothing and tightening.

Tri-Active is in use all over the world. These systems were originally developed 8 years ago by laser scientists in Italy to smooth and tighten cellulite on your face and body.

Tri-Active is FDA approved for the treatment of cellulite.

What is Cellulite?

The term "cellulite" refers to the dimpled appearance of the skin that occurs mostly, but not limited to, hips, thighs, and buttocks. This appearance is much more common in women due to the differences in the way fat, muscle, and connective tissue are distributed within women's skin. The American Academy of Dermatology reports that at least 80 percent of women have cellulite. Currently more than 45 million women in the U.S. between the ages of 20 and 50 suffer from this condition and many seek treatment.

Other contributing factors:

  • Hormonal changes
  • Decrease in microcirculation leading to fluid retention and toxin build up
  • Aging leading to loss of skin elasticity and tightening of the connective tissue that encloses the fat cells.

How does Tri-active treat cellulite?

During a Tri-Active treatment, low level laser diodes penetrate skin tissue along with a deep massaging action which reduces cellulite and smooths the affected area.  Tri-Active improves microcirculation and stimulates the lymphatic system to reduce excess fluid and toxins.  This in turn increases skin elasticity and promotes a tighter appearance.  It also softens the connective tissue that encloses the fat cells improving the tone and texture of the skin.

What parts of the body can be treated?

Besides the thighs and buttocks for cellulite, most other parts of the body can be treated as well: the face, hips, abdomen, upper arms and neck. This procedure provides noticeable result before and after liposuction and after aesthetic surgery, such as breast augmentation, abdominoplasty and others.

Is Tri-Active painful?

The Tri-active treatment is not painful and not even as strenuous as a traditional massage. Most individuals report that it "just feels great!"

How long does a treatment take?

Treatments are typically done in a series of about 10 to 15 treatments to a given area. These can be spaced as closely as 3 times per week, or as far out as once per week.

How soon will I notice effects from Tri-Active treatments?

Your individual results can depend on several factors:

  •     The area(s) being treated
  •     Whether the treatment is being combined with a liposuction procedure
  •     If you have combined treatment with diet and/or exercise
  •     Your age and general condition
  •     The number of treatments

What is the cost for Tri-Active Treatments?

The cost of each treatment varies depending on the country.

How often can I have a complete series of treatments?

Normally, the series can be done annually with follow-up monthly maintenance treatments. If you have experienced weight reduction, a change in your body fat composition (and need additional tightening) or are having other areas of your body treated, you may want to consider a mini-series of treatments.

Can treatments be done at the same time I’m having laser hair removal done?

You may be able to schedule treatments between your laser hair removal procedures. Please consult with us if you are considering doing both.

Can Tri-Active smooth and tighten my facial skin?

Your face can be treated with Tri-Active to provide temporary tightening. Thanks to the mechanical massage, facial tissue will appear tighter and with a fresh glow as circulation is improved to the outmost layers of skin. Perfect just before an important event, such as a wedding or a class reunion.
